In theory, it's a good idea: fix a disease by putting in the correct gene.  Problem is it doesn't work out too well.  Getting the new DNA into the cells is tricky enough. For sites that need to do login stuff (ie blogger, webmail sites, etc).  Same with sites when you're buying something online.Normally I browse with cookies off, because I generally don't feel like letting everybody and their dog track where I go online.
