As anyone who's met me can tell, I tend to ignore aesthetic aspects of things. You could probably tell by the way the state of by apartment or car (both of which are complete messes, despite my regular schedule of cleaning them every 6 months or so). I can appreciate aesthetics in some rare occasions, but making something that looks good isn't something I'm philosophically well suited to. Generally, I try to make stuff that works.
But, for the past few weeks I've been trying to make pretty pictures of some results. Fortunately, I'm almost done. It's been a learning experience, similar to the way falling on a patch of ice in a parking lot in the middle of the night and knocking the wind out of yourself is a learning experience.
